Impact
What your reports changed
Shared as anonymous totals only. Numbers appear once Safety and Compliance supplies real data.
- Example
A caller reported a truck following too closely. To prevent accidents before they happen, we set up a Monitoring Team that tracks every safety alert and reports it to Safety. Safety and Driver Success then work with each driver to sharpen their skills. Safe following distance is now its own section in Driver Orientation.
- Example
A caller heard screaming from one of our parked trucks at a truck stop. The stop wasn’t planned, and the driver wasn’t answering. We called the truck stop staff and the police right away. The driver was having a heart attack, and that fast response saved his life. Now every driver tells dispatch before each stop, and if a driver goes quiet on an unplanned stop, our leaders are cleared to call for help. Since then, this rule has helped two more drivers through health emergencies.
- Example
Drivers told us they weren’t being heard. Dispatch asked them for favors, but when drivers needed help, their requests were ignored. We took it seriously. Every driver request is now logged and gets an answer, and Driver Success follows up on anything that stays open. Drivers can also go straight to leadership if they feel ignored. Respect goes both ways.
